Patricia J. Golichowski (Pat) passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 7, 2021 at 2:30pm.  Pat was born on May 10, 1927 to Alfred and Virginia Majewski in South Bend, IN. and she lived her entire life here.

She married Richard J. Golichowski (Dick) on Sept. 7, 1947.  Together they raised 7 children (4 girls & 3 boys).  Pat’s interests varied wildly from bowling to euchre with friends and Pat and Dick loved to dance. They went dancing as often as they could.  Pat worked for the South Bend Community School Corporation before she retired. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church as well as St. Stanislaus Hoosier Grandmothers Club, St. Adalbert Harvest House, St. Hedwig Golden Cluster and P.N.A. 83.

More than anything Pat cherished her children and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by each of her children and additionally blessed with 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, whom she adored.

Her daughters are:

Nancy (Edwin) Pearson of Frankfort, IN

Cheryl (Mark) Perkins of South Bend, IN

Patricia (Paul) Zulas of South Bend, IN

Lynn (Rick) Baker of Travelers Rest, SC

Pat’s sons are:

Rick Golichowski of Mishawaka, IN

Jim (Teresa) Golichowski of Chandler, AZ

Tim (Sandy) Golichowski of Granger, IN.

Her grandchildren are:

Andy Golichowski, Michael Golichowski, Amy Mensah, Scott Pearson, Kevin Pearson, TJ Pearson, Melissa Kemper, David Niegosinski, Emily Golichowski, Julia Golichowski, Luke Golichowski, Hannah Golichowski, Timothy Perkins and Daniel Perkins. Grandma loved angels and believed that Daniel was her angel here on earth.

At her death, Pat was reunited in heaven with her husband Dick, who passed away in 1984.  She was also reunited with her parents and all her friends and family that preceded her.  She celebrates eternal life with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Her Family wants to thank the nurses of Healthwin Specialized Care 2NW and especially Beth Kavolu for the loving care and attention they provided to her during her stay.
