Patricia Ann Heaton Walters, 85, of Reevesville, SC, widow of Dibbon Carl Walters, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her residence.
Patricia was born on August 7, 1931, in Reevesville, a daughter of the late, John Lewis and Carrie Belle Lucas Heaton. She was a graduate of St. George High School and was a former office manager with U.S. Cocoa Mat and Reevesville Real Estate and Insurance Company. She was an active member of the Reevesville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years, choir member and pianist.
Surviving is her daughter, Debra Ann Walters, Reevesville; grandchildren, Jessica Susan Walters, St. George and Whitney Alison Walters (William) Mellis, Bowman; great-grandchildren, Maci Alison Mellis and Chance Brody Mellis; a brother, John Lewis “J.L.” (Pattie) Heaton, Reevesville; daughter-in-law, Susan P. Walters, Reevesville; special friend of the family, Terri Gorin; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her caregivers and Hospice of Charleston for their compassionate care of our loved one.
