Patricia H. Cummings March 17, 1923 – July 31, 2012 Patricia H Cummings of Jacksonville, Florida died July 31, 2012. She was born in Norwich, Connecticut on March 17, 1923, the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Hartnett. Mrs. Cummings was a graduate from the Norwich Free Academy, class of 1941. On September 4, 1948, Patricia was married in St. Mary Church to Daniel J Cummings who predeceased her in 1995. Mrs. Cummings retired from the Norwich Board of Education in 1994 following a long career as a secretary at Veterans Memorial and Buckingham elementary schools. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Arlington Newcomers Group and Hidden Hills Country Club. She is survived by her two children, Annelin Fleming of Winter Park, Fl and Daniel J Cummings of Jacksonville, Fl: six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Hartnett, and two sisters, Mary McCarthy and Eileen Ryan.
