Patricia Gutierrez Teevin, 79, of Castle Rock, CO passed away peacefully on March 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on January 10, 1939 to Jose and Adelia Gutierrez in La Junta, CO. She graduated La Junta high school and went to nursing school in Denver CO. She became a nurse at National Jewish Hospital where she retired in 1990. She also received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO. In her first marriage to Kay R Prochazka they had 4 children Jon, Gina, Danette, and Steve. She remarried in 1990 to John Xavier Teevin and they were married for 28 years until her death. Pat loved to be with her family and all her grandchildren. She had the best attitude and spirit towards life! She loved to laugh and smile in any situation. She was very charismatic and easily became the center of attention without trying. She was so beautiful inside and out. She was happy go lucky and could make the most of everything. It is impossible to describe her in words, but one word says it best’ HAPPY! She is predeceased by her parents, brother Fred, first husband Kay Prochazka, son-in-law Brad Rodemich. In addition to her husband John & her sister Dolores Huntoon, she is survived by her 4 children from her first marriage: Jon Prochazka & wife Christina, Gina Osland & husband Brent, Danette Maas & husband Dave, Steve Prochazka & wife Melanie. Also included are Johnâs children: Nathan & Jane (Teevin) Norris, John & Barbara Lee (Teevin) Peck, Gregg & Jackie (Teevin) Jordan, Jim & Eileen (Teevin) Deskins, Bob & Francie (Teevin) Grden, John X Teevin. Grandchildren: Bryant Rodemich, Brynn Skarbonkiewicz & husband Adam, Lindsey Mailloux & husband Jacques, Britt (Fox) Rodemich & husband Mike Perkins, Kelsie, Garrett & Trevor Prochazka, Oliva & Josef Osland, Leah & Lauren Prochazka; Anthony Norris, Xavier Norris, Jenelle Williamson, Jennifer Borchers, Andrew Peck, Maria Peck, Dominic Peck, Kyle Jordan, Logan Jordan, Holly Deskins, Rachelle Deskins, David Grden, Adam Grden, Gina Grden. Great Grandchildren: Magda, Maksymilian & Milena Skarbonkiewicz, Rowan Mailloux, Nico Perkins, Cooper Norris, Joseph Borchers, Isabelle Borchers, Julia Borchers.
