Patricia Eberhart was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will be remembered always. “Nana” as she loved to be called by her grandchildren, “Buford” by her loving husband, and “Patty” by her sisters and friends, was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend that will be cherished for her beauty, charm, and never ending love for her family. Patty’s story began on December 2nd, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. She was born to Bertha and Felipe Ortega, and was later blessed with five sisters. Her love story began when she met her husband, Robert Eberhart in 1977 when she was 17 years old. Their instant connection and love for each other brought them together in marriage the following year on January 27th, 1978. Patty blessed Bob with two beautiful children, Nicole and Michael. Patty and Bob shared almost 38 years together filled with trust, love, and endless support. Patty’s three grandchildren, with one on the way, were her heart and joy. Time spent with Nana was cherished for Spencer, Avery, and Gavin. She loved a good glass of Yellowtail red wine, time with family, and talking about her dreams of traveling to Paris. After being diagnosed with Scleroderma in 2012, Patty battled the raging disease for five years. She managed to keep her sharp mind, quick wit and beautiful smile until she passed on Tuesday, December 27th. She is survived by her husband Robert Eberhart; her daughter Nicole; son Michael and daughter-in-law Marcia; three grandchildren, Spencer, Avery, and Gavin; and her five sisters Elizabeth Valdez, Sandra Weaver, Carolyn Susserman, Mary Winter, and Barbara Sutherland. While our hearts are broken, we choose to celebrate the amazing life that Patty lived. Good bye for now, until we meet again sweet soul.
