Patricia Catherine Cheney, age 86, of Monroe, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late C. Brian Cheney, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the CT Hospice, Branford. Born in Plaistow, England, the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Prince she came to the United States in 1960 and had been a Fairfield resident since 1962. Patricia worked for over 30 years at the Jewish Home for the Elderly, starting as a weekend receptionist and ultimately rising to the position of Director of Personnel. She was loved by her co-workers and employees at the JHE who affectionately referred to her as, “Miss Pat”. Mrs. Cheney was a long-time active member of Calvary-St.
