Patricia Buchanan Tucker, 55, of New Market, passed away on Wednesday.
She was a loving wife, mother, “nana”, daughter, and sister and loved giving to others – putting everyone before herself. She loved animals and was a supporter of pet rescue organizations. Patricia raised three wonderful daughters and was a wonderful wife to her husband. She insisted on keeping her grandchildren while their parents worked and loved playing on the floor with them. She was a very active grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene “Buck” Buchanan; Her brothers: Billy Buchanan and Kenneth Buchanan; Her niece, Kayla Buchanan.
Surviving family members include her husband of 37 years, Larry Tucker; Her three daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia & Nick Hamilton, Kimberly & Grady Thigpen, and Heather & Jason Vanderbrink; Her grandchildren: Emma Jane Hamilton, Henry Hamilton, Katie Thigpen, Grant Thigpen, and Tucker Vanderbrink; Her mother, Jeanette Buchanan; Her brothers, Bobby Buchanan, Kevin Johnson, Michael Buchanan, and Jeff Buchanan. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
