Mrs. Bossom died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Heritage of Bel Air.
Patricia was born on August 21, 1926, at rural Lake City, FL, the daughter of Claude and Louise (Matthews) Harrison. She was raised in Miami and graduated high school.
She was employed as an admission clerk at the Key West Municipal Hospital. Later, she worked for Borden Dairy in Miami.
On September 24, 1947, Patricia married Oliver Bossom in Miami. The couple moved to Kansas City. Patricia was employed at the Union National Bank. In March of 1950, they moved to Lincoln. There, Pat worked for the National Bank of Commerce. In 1965, they moved to Norfolk where she was employed at the Norwest Bank until her retirement in September 1991.
Patricia was very active at the First Presbyterian Church and the food pantry as well as humanitarian work.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years; their daughter, Terri Anderson, of Springfield, MO, and son Matthew Bossom, of Lincoln; grandchildren: Dustin Anderson, Tina Hertz, Shawn Bossom and Amanda Bossom; eight great grandchildren; brother, Richard Hodsdon, of Cheasapeak, VA and sisters Katherine Coffee, of Lawrenceville, GA, and Jean Johnson, of Winterhaven, FL.
She was preceded by her parents.
