Patricia Bakes Loskant May 22, 1941 – April 2, 2021. It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our beloved mom and love of our dad’s life. She fought a long battle with dementia for nearly 15 years and even though they were very difficult years she continued to bring joy to the lives around her. Our mom Patricia was married to our father Robert for 58 years and to anyone who shared their journey it was evident how much in love they were. They were pen pals for almost 2 years before they first spoke on the phone in February of 1961 when my dad returned from serving in the Army in Germany. They met a week later under the clock in Grand Central Station.
whisper of “ I Love You”. We will cherish the time we had with our mom even if we had to share her last years with her disease of dementia. We love you mom. You will be forever in our hearts.
