Patricia Belle Harrah Rayta, 90, of Lakeland, Florida, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 6, 1932 in Ramsey, West Virginia. She graduated from Anstead High School in Anstead, WV in 1950.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents Herman and Blanche Harrah; husband, Bernard Rayta; sisters, Freda Teets, Bonny Hill, and Fae Arbogast; brother, Herman Harrah, Jr.
Pat is survived and deeply loved by her children; Debra Speakman (husband Richard Speakman), Pamela Monetti, Wallace Roach Jr, and Joy Casey. Also, her loving grandchildren, Sean Speakman, Heather Rimes-Prociuk (husband Steven Prociuk), Tristina Monetti, Melissa Monetti and Jonene Monetti; Ian McCormick, Shane McCormick and Andrew Coleman. She was lovingly known as GG by her Great Grandchildren, Christian Monetti, Kadence Rimes, Chandler Rimes, Jasmine Speakman, Noah Rivers, Xayne Rivers and Ayden Winsett.
Patricia was an avid reader and had a deep faith in God which gives us peace knowing that she is now in our loving savior’s arms in Heaven.
The family would like to thank the Hospice team at Lakeland Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care during her short stay. We would also like to thank all our family and friends for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
