Patricia Anne Splain, 80 of Fellowsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on November 28, 1934 in Melbourne, Australia, daughter of the late Alfred Charles and Winifred Foster Dunne. Patricia graduated from High School and got her accounting degree. She retired from Anchor Hocking Glass, in Cliffwood, NJ and was a longtime member of the AL Aux Post 143 in Highlands, NJ, where she held all offices in said club. Patricia was also a member of Cabane 1107, 40/8 Monmouth City, NJ. Ms Splain came to the US in 1954 to worked in the UN, New York, NY, where she than became a citizen and raised her family here. Patricia is survived by her loving daughter, Gale Ann Esbrandt Turner and Robert V. Sr, Fellowsville; three grandchildren, Robert Vincent Jr., Parsippany, NJ, Terri L Turner, Highlands, NJ; Traci Flumer, Orange City, FL; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Nicole, Victoria, Dana, Robert III, and Luke; four great-great grandchildren, Lucy, Carlee, Lily and Caleb; one step daughter, Jaclyn Splain Thomas and Billy, Belford NJ; a sister-in-law, Margaret Dunne, one niece, Susan Tuma, one great nephew, Jarrod Tuma and one great niece, Rebecca Tuma, all of Melbourne, Australia. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Splain on Sept. 9, 2000; one brother, Alfred Barry Dunne.
