Patricia Ann White, age 71, of Route 4, Grafton, passed away, Monday, August 22, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born at Currey Ridge, Taylor County, February 14, 1940, a daughter of late Charles Bernard Newcome and Lena Olive “Polly” (Grimes) Newcome. Her husband, Fred Sherman White, survives; they were united in marriage December 13, 1960.
Patricia was a 1959 graduate of Grafton High School, and a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. She was a farmer, and was co-owner/operator of White’s Produce for more than 50 years. She was the market manager of the Fairmont Farmer’s Market.
In addition to her husband she is survived by: one son, Jeffrey White and wife Karen (Latvala), of Media, PA; one granddaughter, Amanda White, of Media, PA; one brother-in-law, Jerry White, of Grafton; one brother, Charles “Buck” Newcome and wife Sandra of SC; and several nieces and nephews.
