SALEM – Patricia Ann Smith, age 86, of Salem, died at 12:04 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1930 in Salem, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Lowry) Murphy.
Her husband, Calvin “Cal” Jay Smith, whom she married May 22, 1954, preceded her in death September 13, 2011.
Survivors include a son, Calvin Joseph (Viola) Smith and a granddaughter, Kirsten both of the Philippines; her niece, Marilyn (John) Borza of Lisbon who was like a daughter to her; a dear friend, Bob Jelen of Texas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
