Patricia Ann “Patty” Collins, 65 of Route 1, Halls Run Road, Salem, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2011, after an extended illness. Patty was born June 17, 1946 in Salem, daughter of the late Oris Perry and Edna H. Snyder Strother. She is survived by her son, Loren ” Brad” Strother and his children, Brittney, Lauren, Trisha, and Adam; five sisters, Jean Strother, Kaye Swann, Shirley Bowen, and Marlene Blankenship, all of Salem; Anita Freeland of Florence, Pa; one brother, Leon Strother of Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Richard “Dick” Collins and a brother Reverend Texas Strother. She graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1964.
