Patricia Ann “Pat” O’Neill (nee Kulik), age 75, a longtime resident of Geneva, passed away in her sleep on Monday, September 6, 2021 at River Crossing of St. Charles.
She was born, the only child, on February 25, 1946, in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, daughter of Charles and Anna (Gillis) Kulik.
Pat lived most of her adult life in Geneva, Illinois, a city which she dearly loved. In addition to raising her two children, Pat also held many jobs in the area. She worked at Pier 1 Imports, Fox Valley Travel, Miner Enterprises, United Sugars Corporation, Charlestown Power Equipment, and Liquid Container. Pat was also a member of the PTO and the Green Willows Birthday Club on the city’s east side.
Pat loved reading, and probably read most of the mysteries in the Geneva Public Library. She also loved to travel, with Michigan’s Sleeping Bear Dunes and Door County, Wisconsin being two of her favorite destinations.
She is survived by her children Daniel (Caroline) O’Neill of Wauconda and Jennifer (John) Krueger of South Elgin; two wonderful grandsons Sean and Jason Krueger; and many other dear cousins, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many beloved aunts and uncles.
To quote a dear family friend, “Pat was fun, smart, a doer, an organizer, and my good friend.”
