A Time to be Born
Patricia Ann (Beckwith) Garnett entered the world on August 24, 1941, the youngest daughter of eleven children to parents Mary and Robert Beckwith, Sr. Always a curious and adventurous soul, she had many adventures with her older siblings growing up on the family farm. Lovingly called “Pat”, she absolutely loved people! It was her biggest gift. Pat “never met a stranger “even as a child. Everyone became an extension of her family.
She attended Montgomery County Public Schools. Pat was baptized and a member of Asbury Methodist Church on Black Rock Road.
A Time To Become

friends.
Oh, the many adventures of these friends will be cherished, and stories told for generations! Pat’s philosophy was to always be true to yourself, live life to the fullest, and to be a kind and loyal friend. True to her nature, Pat connected with an old friend, Isaiah, recently and enjoyed their friendship and talks until her illness.
A Time To love & Give life
Pat was the proud mother of seven children, Frances, lzet (Kitt), James (Jimmy), Geraldine, Stephanie, Nina (deceased), and John (Johnny). She also had a bonus child, Jacqueline (Jackie) Clipper, daughter of her dear friend Maggie. She was also a “community” mom in the neighborhood, that children fondly referred to as “Miss Pat.”
Miss Pat’s home was always welcoming to the children within the communities she lived. Her presence was felt wherever she resided.
Earlier in life, Pat was also the wife to James Garnett, Sr.
Unsurprisingly, Pat’s career was centered around personalized healthcare. She held many roles as a home health care provider for many companies and organizations. She enjoyed brightening the lives of elders and people with different abilities living in long term care facilities with
her signature humor and humanity.
A Time To Reap
Her greatest legacy in life were her three generations of grandchildren! Pictures of Pat’s biggest smiles and looks of adoration were toward her multiple generations of grand babies. She had a way of looking at them with the wonder and delight that could only come from a grandmother’s infinite love. Grandma’s Hands feels like a song written to reflect the soul of who Pat is, was and will always be.
A Time To Transition
During the time of Pat’s transition, she remained true to herself-feisty, salty, sweet, kind, doting, and reassuring to every one of her desire to live! But in her words, she stated, “if it is my time to go, I am ready to leave.
