Patricia (Pat) Ann Ellis Marlowe, beloved wife of Robert Charles Marlowe, who preceded her in death on December 25, 2009; mother and grandmother; went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, September 2, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Marlowe-Green and Dawn Rodriguez; grandsons, Marcus and Donovan Rodriguez; sister-in-law, June Matt, and many nieces, nephews and many, many friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She had a rare, and special, heart of gold that knew nothing except how to be loving, kind, gentle, caring, giving, and most of all, selfless. She loved to get her hair done. My goodness, when it was time to make her appointments, she would have the biggest smile. Her special place was Supercuts on 4th and Osuna. She was treated exceptionally kind there. Her family wants to thank the staff for keeping her smiling and safe when she was there. She also loved to go see her friend Terri at the bank. Even if she didn’t need help balancing her checkbook, she would stop in just to say “Hi” and talk. Thank you Terri for taking such good care of us and making sure everything was always done properly. She loved her friends at Wal-Mart; everyone took wonderful care of her, if she needed help, when we couldn’t be there. We are grateful to all of you for watching over her and if she got too tired, you all stepped in and helped her; thank you. A special thank you to all of our mother’s neighbors who took care of her throughout the years.
She loved to do so many things. She read her Bible every morning before she got out of bed, which comforted her tremendously. She loved her God dearly. The last thing she did every day was say “Goodnight, sweet dreams, I love you bunches” and blow kisses to her daughter, Wendy. She would also tell both daughters to stay safe.
The family would like to send out a very special thank you to Beehive Village, 6100 Willshire Blvd., NE for all the love, support, and caring of Pat throughout her stay. She had a special place in her heart for each individual staff member and the friends she made while she was living there.
