In the early morning hours of August 24, 2016, Patricia Ann Brown Eidson peacefully left behind her life on earth as she stepped into the presence of God. Life began on June 25, 1946 in Newnan, Georgia where she was one of four children born to the late Johnny Everett Brown and his wife Carrie Lee Holloway Brown.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Lynn Brown, her sister Libby Brown Youngblood and her brother-in-law Caswell S. Eidson. Patricia attended Western High School. In later years, as her artistic talents came to fruition, she would design the eagle that is represented on the Western Elementary School’s sign. The monument was donated by The Class of 1964 of which she was a part. For 27 years, Patricia was an employee of PAPP Clinic in medical records. Art was always an important part of her life.

She was a student of Tom Powers and subsequently became involved with Powers’ Crossroads. She was a member of The Newnan- Coweta Art Association. Probably nothing in life was as important to Patricia as her joy in her family and being a doting grandmother to a little guy named Everett Henry Eidson-Smith. Their adventures were legendary. Patricia is survived by her mother Carrie Lee Holloway Brown. She was a loving wife to her husband H. Marcus Eidson. She was an exemplary mother to her daughter Cindy Eidson and her husband Matt Smith.

Also surviving is her sister Karen Brown Payton and her husband Carl. Her family by marriage includes a brother-in-law, Rodger Eidson and his wife Lynda, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Jackson Eidson, sister-in-law Elizabeth Eidson Hodgson and her husband Dick, a brother-in-law Tim Eidson. Nieces and nephews include Kyle Nelms, T. J. Brown, Kane Payton, Jud Eidson, Ben Eidson, Hank Eidson, Skyler Eidson, Banks Eidson, Patrick Eidson and Jeff Eidson. Great nephews include Nicholas and Nathan Reasor, Levi and Jake Brown.
