Patricia “Pat” A Strohacker, 74, of Freeport, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born August 20, 1929, in Freeport she was the daughter of Theron and Esther (Herbig) Tavenner. She married Jerome J. Strohacker on June 29, 1974.
She was a local hairdresser for many years and worked at Micro Switch for 15 years when she retired to take care of her parents.A wonderful mother she will be remembered as a loving giving person.An avid card player she enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino, gardening, fishing, dancing, and winter trips to the Gulf Shore in Alabama.
Surviving is her husband, Jerome of Freeport; daughter, Marcia L. (James) Gorski of Merrimac, Wisconsin; son, Steve C. Myers of Ridott; stepchildren, Vicki L. Swick of Apple River and Kim A Strohacker of Mocksville, NC; 2 sisters, June L. (Ronald) Hawley and Betty C. Mielke both of Freeport; 3 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Betty Williams of Freeport.
Her parents and one niece preceded her in death.
