Patricia A. Lanzilotta
(nee Williams) Patricia Mergenthal-Lanzilotta, last survivor of the 12 children of Henry and Theresa Williams and a lifetime resident of Gloucester City, died peacefully on June 29, 2019 at 94 years of age.
Predeceased by husbands James Mergenthal Sr, Joseph Lanzilotta, and daughter Joyce Redcay.
She is survived by Patricia Sawyer (Edward), Lorraine Dersch (Paul), Claire Blake (William), James Mergenthal (Rita), Joan Mckinstry (Charles), Bruce Mergenthal (Terry), Wayne Mergenthal (Karla), Kathleen Parmiter (Daniel), Stephen Mergenthal (Donna), Delores Carlin (Keith), son-in-law Glenn Redcay, 27 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Patricia made many friends dancing into her 80’s at the Stardust Ballroom, the Oasis, and the Krazy Kat. She loved collecting dolls, doing puzzles, and floating in her daughter’s pool.
Her favorite holiday was Christmas so she loved going to yard sales and stores to look for decorations for her tree and projects.
More recently she was content to challenge her children and grandchildren to a game of cards or dominoes and to crochet afghans for all family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 10:30 am-12:30 pm at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp.
