Her Life and Legacy
Mrs. Patricia Ann Johnson Jones was born on November 9, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the youngest daughter of the late William Johnson and Marie Wright. A sister Mary Alice Jefferson preceded her in death.
Pat, as she was affectionately called, attended Indianapolis Public Schools where she was an avid cheerleader graduating from Crispus Attucks High School in 1952.
In 1983 Pat married Jesse Jones who preceded her in death. They spent 21 wonderful years together sharing a love for entertaining, dancing, cooking and travel.
Pat accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Allen Chapel A.M.E.
Pat held numerous jobs.
Pat had an entrepreneurial spirit and was the owner-operator of Pat’s Little Boutique. Pat closed her shop after 44 years at the age of 83. Her love for people fueled her passion to become a caterer and event planner.
Pat was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Pat loved people and her home was always open.
Mrs. Patricia Johnson Jones departed this life April 24, 2001 at the age of 87. Her son Frederick L (Rickey) Patterson preceded her in death. Cherishing her memory forever are her daughters, Ann Robinson (Gregory), Victoria Hill; grandchildren, Brian Hill, Jr., Candice Hill, Kylee Hill, Stephanie Hill, Michael Robinson, Jamillah Robinson; great-grandchildren, Shayleese Hill, Aleeya Hill, Aiero Tucker, Elijah Robinson and another little Tucker on the way; sister Pauline Norman; a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
