Patricia A. Gardiner, 63, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 after a long battle with various medical issues. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Pat grew up and spent most of her adult life in Brick, NJ, then in 2002 moved to Manahawkin with her husband, Ron. Pat spent most of her professional life in the healthcare field. She retired from the Harrogate Senior Living facility in Lakewood, NJ in 2007 then worked with Meridian Home Care part time when she returned from snow-birding the winter months away in Florida.

She always wanted to help others in some way. Pat enjoyed long chats with her eldest granddaughters Lauren and Alyssa, and visits from her other grandchildren Grace, Brandon and her latest addition, Bella. She loved tending to her plants and playing with Lucy, her cockerpoodle. Most of all she enjoyed her travels with her husband, Ron. Her trips to Italy, Austria and Switzerland were wonderful. While Ron skied, Pat would enjoy the surrounding towns and sights. When there was no skiing, they would travel together with their close friends to Venice, Innsbruck, or wherever a train or bus would take them.

Her most recent enjoyment was her travels with her husband and Lucy in their motor home around this beautiful country of ours. Pat was predeceased by her parents, William and Anttoinette Freer and brother Patrick Freer. Surviving are her husband Ron and her puppy Lucy at home, her daughters Theresa Orlando and Tammy Wolfsohn & her husband Keith, her son Ronald Morroccoli and his wife Tara, five grandchildren Lauren, Alyssa, Grace, Brandon and Bella, her brother Bill and his wife Debbie of Tennessee, her sister Mary Martelloni and nieces & nephews.
