Patricia A. Smith, age 90, of Fairfield, formerly of Wilton and Danbury, beloved wife of 65 years to the late Douglas J. Smith, passed away peacefully, at home Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Clifton and Mabel Gainer, she had been a Wilton and Danbury resident for many years prior to relocating to Fairfield two years ago. A graduate of Norwalk High School, she worked for over 20 years at Accurate Graphics in Norwalk. Patricia loved bird watching and astronomy. A talented seamstress, she proudly created and sewed her daughter-in-law Dolores’ wedding dress as well as bridesmaid dresses. She also loved to read and enjoyed photography.
