Patricia A. Fleming age 66 of Midland died Monday, May 19, 2014 at her home.

Pat was born on October 1, 1947, to William and Lois (LaDuke) Clark whom she will join in heaven.

She graduated from Merrill High School in 1966 and was later employed at Dow Corning-Hemlock Medical Plant where she worked for 18 years, retiring in December 1999. On January 22, 1966 Pat married the love of her life, Frank Fleming in Merrill, Michigan and they spent many years lovingly raising their rambunctious family together.

Her children were her greatest treasures; Michael (MaryBeth) Fleming of Midland, Frank (Connie) Fleming of Midland and Annette Fleming (Bill Arnold) of Bay City will continue the many family traditions their mother started. To add to her joy, she was blessed with her wonderful grandchildren; Matthew Fleming (Jessica Hackett), Brett Fleming, Brittany Fleming, Bethany Fleming, Billy Fleming, Ashley Fleming, Benny Arnold and Madeline Arnold, who hold many memories of grandma close to their hearts.

Pat spent her life laughing and sharing special times with her dearly loved sisters, Sharon (David) Fleming and Linda (Maynard) Davis, as only sisters can. She had a very special Aunt Rosemary (Floyd) McGinty with whom she shared many vacations, family get-togethers and just special times. She was also blessed with a large family when she married Frank. She leaves many beloved in-laws and special nieces and nephews, and many special friends in both Michigan and Florida where she and Frank spent their winter months.
Everyone who met Pat loved her.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. You could always find Pat at a ball field, cheer competition, or dance recital cheering her grandkids on in everything they did. Grandma Pat always had the kids’ treat bag for them whether they were a little leaguer or a college athlete. She loved the holidays. Her other hobby was cooking and making sure her family was well fed and always with their favorites. A hobby she has passed on to some of her grandkids. If you drive past her home, you will see her beautiful flower gardens, in which she took such pride. She always had a special place in her heart for animals. Any stray animal that needed love, care and food knew to go to Pat’s house.
In celebration of her life,
