Pat was born April 7, 1940 in Alma, Michigan to Nelson A. Kelley and Naomi Elizabeth (Schloneger) Kelley. He was born and raised in Michigan. Pat started his career working for Gateway Sporting Goods in Michigan and he was transferred to Greeley, CO in 1971. He married Barbara A. Chaney on October 22, 1972 in Sterling, CO. They later divorced in 1995. In 1974,

Pat and Barbara bought the Channer Gift and Music Store. Later they bought a Radio Shack Franchise and merged the two businesses into Smuggler Cards and Gifts and Radio Shack. In 1983, they sold the business and Pat went to work for North Sterling Marina until April 1991.

In June of 1991, he opened and operated Kelley’s Getaway with his family until 1994. He later moved to Fort Collins and worked in Boat and RV sales.

He was a longtime member of Sterling BPO Elks Lodge #1336 and bowled on the Elk’s Bowling League for several years. Pat enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing and hunting through the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Patrick L. Norden; brother Pete and sisters Judy and Nancy.

Pat is survived by his son Shane A. Kelley; granddaughters Shaela A. Kelley, Shelby A. Kelley, Samantha Norden and Cassandra Norden; grandson Tyler Norden; brother Darryl; sister Joyce; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
