Pasquale Edward “Pat” Castiello, 94, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He and Nina (Iasiello) Castiello were married 69 years last November 15th, the longest marriage on both sides of their families. Born in Bethlehem, Pat was the 14th of the 15 children of the late Pasquale and AnnaMarie (Lanza) Castiello. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption BVM, Bethlehem. A graduate of Liberty High School, Pat earned his BS in Math and German from Moravian College. He played football in high school and in college. From November 1934 to November 1937, he served in the US National Guard as part of the 213th Regiment. He served in the US Navy from December 23, 1943 to December 21, 1945, attaining the rank of Aerographer’s Mate Second Class.
