DeLuca, Pasquale E. DeLuca Sr., age 83, of Shelton, died August 18, 2005 in Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield. Mr. DeLuca was born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and was a Huntington/Shelton resident for many years. He was a retired engineering professor at Norwalk State Technical College. He was also an engineer for Moore Tool and Burndy Corporation. A WWII Navy veteran, Mr. DeLuca was a member of the VFW Post 10466 and the Tincan Sailors. Mr. DeLuca was predeceased by his wife, Marie Wander DeLuca. Survivors include three sons, Michele DeLuca and his wife, Donna of Newtown, Pasquale DeLuca Jr. and his wife, Charise, of Trumbull,and Daniel DeLuca of Shelton, two daughters, Anna Marie Alonza and her husband, Brian of Oxford,and Christina DeLuca of Naugatuck, two sisters,Anna Luciano of Mt Vernon, NY and Clara Pugliese of New Rochelle, NY , eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
