Parker Willis, 90, of Brooklyn Park, passed away at Somerford Place on November 11, 2015. He was born in Amherst, Virginia on January 25, 1925 to the late Homer and Dora Willis. He served his country proudly in the United States Army, receiving the Purple Heart. Parker was a member of the VFW Post 2916 and the Glen Burnie Moose. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing and eating, especially ice cream. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ethel; son, Franklin Hively; and five siblings, Grover, Clyde, Bascomb and Perrow Willis and Eva Johns. Parker is survived by his children, Delores Dishman and husband Bruce, Edward “Bucky” Willis, Patty Paolucci and husband Tony, Chuck Willis and wife Loretta, and Liz Adams; six grandchildren, Kellie Metter, Denise Petrusis, Dean Hively, Chuck Willis Jr., Lindsey Paolucci and Kristen Paolucci; four great-grandchildren, Kala, Drew, Lauren and Alex; and three siblings, Emmett Willis, Bennie Willis and Britsie Stroud.
