After her husbands passing, she moved to Whiting Hall and was there for 25 years before moving to Knox County Nursing Home in 2013.Many have seen her in earlier years walking around downtown as she did for many years. Her energy was limitless. She was spunky, independent, outspoken, and adored by all. Many of the employees at the nursing home often said they wanted to be just like her when they were 97. She loved her family with all her heart and soul and that love was mutual.
