Pamela Sue Rider, 52, of Jacksonville and formerly of Virginia, IL died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at her residence.
She was born October 31, 1964 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Harold Eugene “Red” Rider and Mary Lou Gentry.
She is survived by three sons, Chad Bishop (fiancé, Danielle Richardson) of Bath, Matthew Bishop of Bath, and Keith Collins of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Rileigh Bishop of Bath, Kaison Merriman of Virginia, and Georgia Bishop of Frederick; two sisters, Vanessa Avery (husband, Danny) of Virginia and Stephanie Rider-Womack (husband, Keith of Nashville, TN; two step sisters, Terri Mayfield (husband, Nathan) of Cheatham, TN and Jeanie Becker of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents,Orville and Ethel Rider and Clarence and Nellie Gentry.
Pamela was a licensed practical nurse employed in area nursing homes and in private homes. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crafts.
