Pamela Sue Ramsey, 72, of Fairmount, Indiana, died at 1:30 PM, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She entered this world on December 8, 1949, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, born to Donald Hensley and Edith “Toots” (Brown) Owen. Pamela married J.D.Ramsey on August 4, 1991, he survives.
She was a 1968 graduate of Mississinewa High School. Pamela worked and retired from Franklin Electric in Gas City, Indiana. She was also a cook at several places in Grant County.
Pamela was a member of Back Creek Friends Church in Fairmount, and the 9th Street Gang Car Club. She lived for taking care of others throughout her life and was a very good cook. Pamela enjoyed crafting, emboidery, going to rummages, and especially liked to be outdoors working in her flower garden.
In addition to her loving husband of 30 years, Pamela is survived by her two children, Ronald (Beth) Brown, of Frankton, and Daniel (Alli) Shearer, of Indianapolis, Indiana; three step-children, Daniel (Suzanne) Ramsey, of Marion, Indiana, Debbie Sherman and Michelle (Ron) Evola, both of New Braunfels, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn (Mike) Earnest, of Fairmount, and Cathy (Dusty) Esra, of Jupiter, Florida; brother, Gary (Trudy) Owen, of Yorktown, Indiana; brother-in-law, Eric Gunyon, of Indianapolis; special aunt, Mat (Bob) Wright, Gas City, Indiana; three sisters-in-law, Lucille, Patsy, and Carol; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Sadie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Troy Brown; sister, Beth Gunyon; and great-grandson, Brodie Kent.
