Pamela Sue Allen, 67, of Gilmore City, Iowa, died August 8, 2018, at the Long Term Care Facility in Humboldt, Iowa.
Pamela Trampel, was born September 14, 1950, the daughter of John A. and Dorothy Trampel. She attended and graduated from NE Hamilton High School in Blairsburg, Iowa. She then attended North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa where she studied bookkeeping. She worked in Eagle Grove and Ellsworth, Iowa before working at Pro Cooperative Elevator in Gilmore City until 2007. Pam served on the Gilmore City Council and Gilmore City Ambulance and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Gilmore City. Pam and her husband Bob met on a blind date and were married on November 7, 1981, in Rolfe, Iowa. The couple then made their home in Gilmore City. Survivors include her husband Bob, Gilmore City, IA; brothers Larry Trampel, Oklahoma City, OK and Alan (Sue) Trampel, Cedar Rapids, IA; sister in law Ardis (Keith) Shelgren, Rolfe, IA; brothers in law Kenny (Nancy) Allen, Pocahontas, IA, Mike (Mary) Allen, New Carlise, OH, and Don Allen, Rolfe, IA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, sister Karen Hammen-Lee, father and mother-in-law William and Henrietta Allen, and brother-in-law Marvin (Moe) Allen. Pam enjoyed toy collecting, spending time with family, trips to Branson, Missouri, bingo, playing cards, and sending cards to others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
