Pamela “Pam” Roberta Lundberg, 81, of Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Peace Hospice.
Born August 7, 1941, in Great Falls to Robert and Agnes (Paliga) Hess, Pam attended the local schools, graduating from Great Falls High School. It was during her high school years that she met her beloved William James Lundberg, marrying him April 21, 1958, in Fort Benton, and remaining together for 64 years until her passing.
Pam worked as a store clerk at the Paris for a few years before taking a job at Southerland’s Jewelry, where she would remain until retirement. She really enjoyed her work there with the customer service and jewelry restoration. She was a truly wonderful neighbor and helped save the life of her next-door neighbor after he was brutally assaulted in a knife attack.
Crafting made her very happy, especially at the holidays when she would make things to send to her children and grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed sending packages to her son while he was in the Navy. She made sure to pack all her gifts so the bows weren’t crushed. The family always said she could send a pie, and have it arrive intact if she wanted to. She was a gardener at heart and did her part to make their home one of the nicest looking properties in the neighborhood if not the entire city.
She is survived by her loving husband, William; son, Robert William Lundberg; daughter, Deette Ann Lundberg; brother, Terrence N. Hess; three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
