Pamela Marie Haffecke entered this world on October 14, 1955. Throughout her life, she did everything in a big way, “Go big or go home,” in her words. That was evident in the life she led. She is survived by her fiancée Billy Johnston, her son Ben Carpenter and his wife Missy, her daughter Cassie Bugalski and her husband Michael, her grandson Jackson Carpenter who referred to her as “Nana” and step-grandchildren Tim and Samantha. She is also survived by her siblings Barbara Dougherty, Katye Follett, Glenda Strickler, Willy Haffecke, Danny Haffecke, and Jimmy Haffecke as well as by many nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carpenter and her parents. Pam Carpenter’s life can be summed up with one word, sparkle. She was the life of the party, and always the first one dancing. She lived in the moment, not missing any opportunity to bring people together or help someone. Her presence will be be missed by so many who have been touched by her. Her family and friends will treasure her tenacious spirit and practicality. Many sought Pam’s wisdom and she took great joy in advising others. She refused to “sugar-coat” anything, but took everyone at face value.
