Pamela Marie Phillips, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, after a short illness.
She was born on January 27, 1951, in Cohoes, New York, the youngest daughter of the late Louis and Irene Messier Modesti, and grew up in Troy, New York. She raised her family in Clifton Park, New York, before eventually moving south, first to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1998 and then to Buford, Georgia in 2012.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Joe; her two sons, Joe (Torey) of Ashburn, Virginia, and Matt (Lindsey) of Atlanta, Georgia; and her five grandchildren – Samantha (14), Natalie (11), Nate (9), Ben (7) and Owen (5).
Pam was an extraordinary person who was incredibly passionate about the things she cared about – her sons, their wives and her grandchildren (no one has had a conversation with her over the past 10+ years where she didn’t bring up Sammy, Natalie, Nate, Ben or Owen); interior decorating (there are few around who can put together such a beautiful home); travelling around the United States; and most of all, her adoring husband, Joe.
