Pamela (Punkin) Ginther, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family March 21, 2022 in Des Moines, IA.
Pam was born September 13, 1946 to Frank and Betty Lou Schultz. She lived her life in Des Moines, IA and Altoona, IA. She had a kind and a quiet personality (until you poked the bear). She was a tremendous supporter of her kids and family, no matter what. She also served as a mother figure to many. Pam worked in the Des Moines Public School system her entire career, retiring at the age of 65.
Pam enjoyed reading, sewing, arts and crafts, spending time with her mother, Betty Lou, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed getting manicures and pedicures; her nails were always beautiful and envied by many, especially her daughters. Pam was known by many for her excellent cooking, and her family looked forward to her holiday cookies each year.
Pam is survived by her daughters Lisa Stuart (Jeff Stuart) and Lorrie Scully (Ed Scully), sons Rick Ginther (Yvonne Ginther) and Joe Ginther, granddaughters Sydney Stuart, Casey Stuart, Jessie Stuart, Chelsea Scully, Macy Scully, Hailey Scully, Hannah Rodrigues (Lucas Rodrigues), Vannessa Larson (Mitch Larson), Olivia Ginther, grandson Joseph Ginther, great-grandchildren Soren Rodrigues and Vera Larson, and sisters Cindy Gibson and Liz Gibson. She was preceded in death by brother, Steven Schultz, and parents.
