Pamela Louise Olenik, 63, of Adrian, Oregon, died with her family at her bedside on June 5, 2016 at a Caldwell hospital following a battle with cancer.

Born to Donald Roberts and Albertine Kinzer Roberts on Oct. 17, 1952 in Nyssa, Oregon, she was the oldest of 4 children. Pam attended schools throughout Idaho, following her father’s banking career. She graduated from Parma High School in 1971.

As a senior, she met Joe Olenik who fell in love with her at first sight and proposed on a rainy night. They were married on Aug. 28, 1971, sharing 45 years together as soul-mates. They bought their first new home in Parma, Idaho then moved to a small farm in Adrian, Oregon, their final residence.

Joe and Pam raised 3 daughters on their Adrian farm, with Pam taking great pride in the girls’ education, interests, and achievements while performing the role as wonderful mother, mentor, and friend.

Pam delighted in being a grandmother, “Mammy,” to her 5 grandkids. She doted on her grandchildren, caring for them, attending sporting and academic events, and creating special gifts.

As a strong Christian, Pam lived her values and instilled them in her daughters and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Bradley Roberts.
