Ms. Pamela “Bell” Belton, the daughter of William L. Bell Sr. & Margaret Bell, was born November 1, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pamela was employed with the Indianapolis Star and News for 10 years before retiring in 1996. Pamela was a loving mother and grandmother. One thing our loving mother did was cherish her children and grandchildren. Our mom made sure she expressed to her children how proud of us she was and how much she loved us. Her grandchildren were her world and she had a unique bond with each one from the oldest to the youngest. Pamela’s greatest joy was truly her children and grandchildren their bond was truly unbreakable.

After retirement Pamela relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she  continued her career in the administrative field. 

On September 25, 2020 in the early morning Pamela departed from life.  Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Bell; father,  William L. Bell Sr.; and sister, Pricilla Bell Roper.

Pamela leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son, Robert L. Russell (Jenay); her loving daughter Teisha L. Belton; seven sisters, Bertha Hayes (Hershel), Patricia Williams, Joyce Maxey, Dianne Harrison, Ella Bell, Denise Crowe (Gregory) and Lynette Bell; two brothers, William L. Bell Jr. (Dorothy) and Melvin Bell; nine grandchildren, Kylynn A. Belton, Terrence J Taylor, Andreas L. Russell, Antonio J. Belton, Rayonna L. Russell, Jenaya M. Russell, Kalyhia D. Manuel, Rajinae A. Russell and Ay’Bre N. Jones along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
