Pablo Alonzo, age 92, passed on to be with the Lord Friday August 14, 2020 at Harlingen Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1928 in Harlingen, TX the son of Geronimo Alonzo and Genoveva Lozano Alonzo. Pablo was a good man with a heart of gold, always in good cheerful spirit. he was a man of faith and he adored his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, father in law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother uncle and friend. After he retired he enjoyed frequenting his favorite restaurants, Dora Vela’s and El Rancho, were his favorite places to eat. He also enjoyed shopping for hats, watches and listening to music.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Montes Alonzo and brothers, Tranquilino Alonzo, Federico Alonzo and Matias Alonzo.
Pablo is survived by to cherish his wonderful memory, his children, San Juana Garza, Maria Berrias, Maria Genoveva Tenoria (Armando), Martina Vallejo (Ramon), Pablo Alonzo Jr. (Juany) and Rogelio Alonzo ( Marta Cecilia), 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Jesus Alonzo, two sisters, Feliza Ornelas and Maria Montes. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
