Born in Fayetteville, Georgia, Mrs. Smith came to this area in 1980 from Atlanta. She worked as chief operator with Southern Bell, and retired after 38 years. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Baptist faith and the Telephone Company Pioneers. She also enjoyed reading and traveling.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Patricia of New Smyrna Beach, 2 grandchildren, Steve of New Smyrna Beach and Kenny of Plant City, 3 great grandchildren, Kasey, Kenny, and Cortnie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Clemons L. Smith.
