Ouida Everett, age 93 a native of Covington, LA and long time resident of Eight Mile, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at her residence. Ouida was affectionately known as “Maw Maw” by many. Her special love touched everyone that she knew. She always found a way to make everyone smile. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George Samuel Everett. She is survived by two sons, Sammy (Suzanne) Everett and Ray Everett, one daughter, Sandra (Corley) Eubanks, four grandchildren, Christy, Derek, Mandy, and Brent, eight great grandchildren, Kaci, Landen, Avery, Kaley, Summer, Savannah, Jace, and Emerie, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends.
