Otto Christian Schulz, Jr., age 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and has lived the past 10 years in Metairie. Otto began his long accomplished life on March 18, 1931 born to Otto C. Schulz, Sr. and Teresa Hogan Schulz. Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Shirley Ciaccio Schulz. He is survived by his sons, Karl (Kathy), Keith Sr. (Mili) and Kevin (Tammy) Schulz, his grandchildren Keith Jr., Samantha, Kristina, Austin and Madelyn Schulz, Raul Escoto, and 3 great grandchildren, Karsyn, Kameron and Kaidence. Otto attended Holy Cross High School and graduated in the Class of 1948. After a brief stay at LSU, he followed his passion of baseball and played professionally for the Opelika Owls in the Georgia/Alabama League.
