Otis C. “Scooter” Garrison, Jr., 61, of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side. Otis was retired and a hard-working Mr. Fix It. He had a contagious smile and a heart of gold.
He was a kind, caring and generous man. He was the most loving father, husband, PowPa, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed raising his children, many family travels and being the greatest PowPa. Otis leaves behind wife Susan Garrison; children, Carly Garrison, Nathaniel Garrison along with (wife) Sienna, Jackie, Jonathan, Arianne, Kirstin, Kaylin, and Raquel; grandchildren, Kyden, Illiana, Hayleigh, Jayla, Jaycob, Jayden and Caitlyn; sister, Karen Hanson of Benicia, Calif.; brother, Drew and (wife) Karen Garrison with children Kelsey and Devin of Germantown; and brother, Gary and (wife) Mary Garrison of Geneva with children Meredith, Margie and Monica with their spouses and children. Otis was preceded in death by his mother and father, Eleanor and Otis C. Garrison, Sr., nephew and godson, Derek Garrison.
He will be remembered by all who met him as he was one who never met a stranger.
