Ota Mae Talkington, 95, of Locust Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away on April 16, 2010 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Talkington was born near Harrisville, WV on January 4, 1915, a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Jane Sophia Walters Hatfield. She was married to Harvey Mansfield Talkington on November 7, 1936, who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, David Wesley Talkington, Leavenworth, KS,; four grandchildren, Amber Cameron, Omaha, NE, Elizabeth Talkington, Joplin, MO, Jeffrey Talkington, Chicago, IL, and Marvin Griffiths, Clarksburg; and three great grandchildren, Reed Cameron, Naomi Cameron, and Grayson Talkington. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra L. Griffiths; four brothers; and two sisters. Mrs. Talkington was a member of the United Methodist Temple.
