Oscar Causey, Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at UMMC Hospital in Jackson, MS. Born November 20, 1949 to Oscar, Sr. and Rosie Bell Hill Causey, he was sixty-eight years of age.
Oscar was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Silas, AL where he served as a trustee. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Brenda Napier and this union was blessed with three children and additionally three step-children. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and dedicated worker; supporting his family with twenty-two years of employment with Hunt Refinery, until his death.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Doris Causey; son, Deon Causey; father-in-law, Clausell Boykin, II; mother-in-law, Alemedia Woodard and nephew, Demetrius Causey.
Oscar leaves to forever cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Brenda N. Causey, Silas, AL; his twin children, Danielle Napier, Silas, AL and Darnell (Kwanza) Napier, Mobile, AL; two grandchildren, Ire’Anna Napier and Xavier Pearson, Silas, AL; one step daughter, Nishika (Kyle) Napier, Butler, AL; two step sons, Orinthell Antonio (Shirley) Napier, Koenton, AL and Dewayne Lamont (Shelma) Napier, Cullomburg, AL; his mother, Rosie Bell Causey, Silas, AL; two sisters, Gloria Jean Causey, Silas, AL and Ida Bell Oneal, Mobile, AL; one brother, James Charles (Juanita) Causey, Silas, AL; two mothers-in-law, Elizabeth Woodard, Alma, AL and Autherine Boykin, Gosport, AL; twelve brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Denise Causey, James Causey, Jemyris Causey and Yolanda Causey; other relatives and friends, including a devoted family member, Lois Williamson.
