Oscar Bruce Tally, Jr., of Newnan, passed away November 18, 2011.
Bruce worked for the East Point Police Department and retired as Captain after 30 years. He also fought proudly for his country during the Korean War in the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his wife Marion Keenum Tally, and is survived by his daughters, Angela McBurnett (Leon), of Newnan, Celeste Kimberly (Denny), of Jonesboro; step-daughters, Sheryl Dobbs (Eddie), of Copperhill, TN, Angela Boykin (Milt), of Newnan; step-son, Ronald Halcome (Imelda), of Vallejo, CA; sister, Ella Berry, of Forest Park; grandchildren, Nicholas Tally, Michael Kimberly, Michelle Kimberly; special nephew who he raised, Ellis Lowery (Wanda), of Luthersville; numerous & nephews.
