….. Born in Franklinton, O.A. lived most of his life in Bogalusa, LA. He was a US Navy Veteran and a former member of the Merchant Marines. He was a Deacon and an active member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church, a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was dearly loved by his family and friends. He retired from Gaylord International after 43 years as a welder. He was the owner and operator of O.A. Green and Sons, a demolition company that was awarded the responsibility of demolishing the Paper Mill in Bogalusa. Once O. A. retired he found comfort in bringing comfort to others.. He also attended a weekly worship service at Rest Haven Living Center where he was delighted to share his testimony with everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Alex Green Sr. and Lillie Jenkins Green; sister, Polly Miles Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams Green; two sons, Stanley David Green and Doug Green; daughter, Donna Lynn Mohon; 6 grandchildren, Benjamin and wife Michelle, Aaron and wife Lindsay, Jennifer, Amy and husband Adam, Tonya and husband Aubrey, Rebekka; 2 great grandchildren, Gavin and Jackson.
