Orval Riley Bock was born November 6, 1935, at Angelus Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He was the baby brother, by one hour, to his twin sister Opal Blanche. Orval grew up in Bell Gardens, California, and graduated from Bell Gardens High School in 1955. Following High School graduation, Orval enlisted and served his country proudly from 1955to 1963 as a member of the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the U.S.S. Ernest G. Small, a Destroyer in the Pacific Fleet.
Orval was granted his Angel wings on June 26, 2016. His final days were spent surrounded by his three daughters Deborah, Connie, and Rebecca, their husbands and seven beloved grandchildren Brianne, Ricky, Alexandra, Sean, Chase, Noah, and Calleigh.
Although far too short according to all who knew him, Orval lived a large life made of love, generosity , and joy; a truly memorable life.
Daddy we love you and will miss you always.
