SALEM – ORRIN K. VAUGHAN, age 76, died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born November 28, 1941 in Salem, the son of Charles and Mildred (Bowen) Vaughan.
Orrin was a veteran in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam, retiring in 1979. He then worked at Falcon Transportation, retiring as a driver.
Orrin was a member of the Salem First United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion, AMVETS, VFW-life member, and the NCO Association.
Survivors include a sister, Joyce Elaine Constant of Maryland; and a brother, William Vaughan of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Cynthia Schneider, his mother and father, and his sister, Audrey Cunning.
