Orlando Cortelloni, 85 of Centralia, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Paducah, Kentucky.
Orlando was born July 28, 1928, son of Oresto Cortelloni and Mary (Hoeinghaus) Cortelloni. He married Wanda Wessling in Paducah, Kentucky and she survives in Oklahoma.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Katy Uhlemeyer and husband Chip of Ormond Beach, Florida, Deena Devane and David of Paducah, Kentucky, and Angelina Jones of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; a step-daughter, Charlotte McMurray(Pat); step-son: George Beasley; three grandsons, four step-grandsons and four step-granddaughters; five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: Melvin Cortelloni, Bruno Cortelloni, Albert Cortelloni, Ray Cortelloni, Jay Cortelloni, and Geno Cortelloni, and two sisters: Betty Jean Cortelloni and Eva Cortelloni. Orlando worked for the Teamsters Union for 35 years and later retired. He served in WWII in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the Mount Moriah Christian Church, Centralia Elks Lodge, Centralia Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 446 and a life member of V.F.W. Post 2055. Orlando enjoyed playing Poker and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
